And to obviously quote Shakespeare, “that is the question.“
Traditional publishing has always been my dream, but my friends and family are encouraging me to self-publish my novel on Amazon. I’ve even been offered help to self-publish.
What is stopping me? Fear, I guess. I feel like it will be launched into the void, and I’ll lose my chance of being traditionally published.
Over the holiday, I was feeling like metaphorically tossing the novel under the bed and making my best effort to move on. However, last night, I uncharacteristically decided to share some pages on the internet. I uploaded three chapters of my novel, I’m Not Innocent, to Libraro, a community-driven platform that supports new authors.
If you have about fifteen minutes to spare and would like to help, I’d love for you to read the sample pages and share your thoughts. I really appreciate it! You can check it out, rate it, and leave a comment if you’d like. It’s free (you’ll just need to log in as a reader). Thank you!
